Car Organization

I must confess, my car is less than organized right now! Why is it that we spend so much time making sure our homes are tidy but we let our cars get so messy?? The average American spends 10-15 hours a week in the car. With that said, getting my car clean and organized is on the top of my to-do list.

Here are some ideas that I found to get me inspired. Enjoy!

    1. Car Document Organizer for storing important documents such as insurance card, registration, AAA card.
    2. Trunk Organizer - I found this one at the Container Store
3. Back Seat Organizer - This is great for storing kids stuff. I found this one at One Step Ahead

4. Car Seat Organizer - This came from One Step Ahead . I keep mine beside the baby's carseat. It stores a sippy cup, a bottle of water, hand sanitizing wipes, changing supplies and toys.

5. Passenger Seat Basket. I keep a basket like this one in my passenger seat to store items that I need for errands (for example, a shirt that needs to be returned, pants that need to be hemmed, etc). That way, everything is in one place and if someone needs to ride shotgun, the basket can easily be moved to the back seat.

6. Trash Can - It is a good idea to have an accesible trash can for napkins, wrappres, etc.
This one is a Cereal Container...What a great idea!

7. Mom Kit: I keep a quart size Ziplock bag in my center console with emergency items including:
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Breath Mints
  • Whisps
  • Nail File
  • Rubber Bands
  • Lara Bars - My fave!
  • Advil
  • Stain Remover
  • Lint Brush
8. Kid Kit: I keep a similar kit with kids items including:
  • Diapers
  • Wipes
  • Baby Tylenol
  • Sunscreen
  • Bandaids/Neosporin
  • Boogie Wipes
  • Snacks
  • Bottled Water/Sippy Cup
  • Extra Outfit Change
